Description

In this painting by Geoff Taylor there is a snow capped mountain range in the distance and a rocky cliff edge to the sea. There are three sailing ships on the water and some low lying mist. In the foreground there is a steep bank upon which a group of four warriors dressed for combat with spears and shields, and helmets for protection. A large conifer in the near foreground, grasses and fir cones visible with slabs of rock and shale.
