Description

In this painting by Geoff Taylor is a figure prone on an alter slab he is dressed in a white robe, lights radiating from him, like small lightning bolts, there are columns alongside. Looming over him is a figure, like a roman soldier with a large mallet raised over his head. In the distance are standing stones like that at Stonehenge these are lit with a green light from the starry sky.
