Description

In this painting by Geoff Taylor there is a rocky cliff edge, below a huge standing stone quite round in appearance with a hole through the centre. Light from the moon is channelled through the hole from the moon and illuminates ghostly figures or apparitions which our two heroes in the foreground appear to be frightened of. There are bats flying in the night sky.

Synopsis for Original Title

Dark Fire. No fire burns within the valley of ghosts, only ashes growing cold. But does arcane power still exist on the island of Zalys, and if so who can blow it into flame?
