Description

This painting by Geoff Taylor shows a deep blue sky. A double rainbow seemingly captures a male figure holding up a staff. With him in the foreground is a female both are dressed in animal skins. The land appears to be a peninsula and the sea is blue and calm. There is another land mass in the background creating a narrow inlet for the water.

Synopsis for Original Title

Saint Patrick is renowned throughout the Western world for bringing the word of God to the heathen pagans of Great Britain. But who was the man behind the myth? In this book, noted fantasy writer Parke Godwin combines Christian legend, Celtic folklore and mysticism to create a magical and mythical portrait of Ireland's patron saint.
