Description
In this painting by Geoff Taylor there is a vast landscape snow capped mountains to the left to a wide expanse of still water. A river flowing down into the sea, the sun is setting. Two soldiers with ornate helmets and banners, on horseback looking over the estuary which has a castle fortress on both sides of the river mouth.
Synopsis for Original Title
After many perilous adventures, Simon Braithwaite and his companions have reached the wild and lonely land of the Nine Gods, to find themselves at the mercy of its fierce and xenophobic people.
